Privacy Policy
Information Obligation Statement
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.
When Visiting Our Website
When you visit our website, your IP address as well as the start and end of the session are recorded for the duration of this session. This is technically necessary and therefore constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Unless otherwise stated below, this data will not be further processed by us.
Contacting Us
If you contact us via a form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.
Data Storage
We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and for subsequent contract processing, the web shop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner within the framework of cookies, as well as the buyer’s name, address, credit card number, etc.
The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude a contract with you. Data will not be transferred to third parties, with the exception of:
-
Transmission of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price
-
Transmission to the transport/shipping company commissioned by us for delivery of the goods
-
Transmission to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations
If the shopping process is aborted, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the case of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the statutory tax retention period (7 years).
In addition, the data (name, address, purchased goods, and purchase date) will be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years).
Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for contract fulfillment) GDPR.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow this only in individual cases.
If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be limited.
Web Analytics
Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. Cookies are used to enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there.
You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored.
We have concluded a corresponding data processing agreement with the provider.
Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized (e.g., by deleting the last 8 bits). As a result, only approximate localization is possible.
The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on the “Privacy Shield” agreement.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.
Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized.
User data is stored for a period of 3 years.
In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process voluntarily provided information regarding areas of interest, date of birth, and postal code.
